What Is a Resource?
A resource is any bookable item that customers reserve for a date range. A hotel room, a meeting room, a camping pitch, a rental car, or a piece of equipment.
Each resource has:
- Name - "Ocean View Suite", "Meeting Room A", "Canon R5 Camera"
- Description - Details about what's included
- Capacity - How many concurrent bookings the resource supports (usually 1)
Creating a Resource
From the business dashboard, go to Resources → New Resource.
Resources become available on the booking page immediately after creation. Customers select a check-in and check-out date.
Blocked Dates
Block specific date ranges when a resource is unavailable:
- Maintenance periods
- Owner use blocks
- Seasonal closures
Blocked dates prevent bookings for the affected range.
