Invite and manage business users. Owner and manager roles, activation, deactivation, and login credentials.
What Is a Business User?
A business user is someone who manages a single business. They log in at /admin and are automatically scoped to their business. They never see other businesses or system settings.
Business users are separate from the operator (the person who installed VoxelBooking). The operator can manage all businesses. Business users only see their own.
Roles
Each business user has one of two roles:
Owner
Full access to the business. Can do everything a manager can, plus:
- Edit business settings (general, branding, booking page, embed, privacy, notifications)
- Manage team members (invite, activate, deactivate)
Manager
Day-to-day operations access:
- View and manage bookings
- Create manual bookings
- View and manage customers
- Access the calendar
Managers cannot change settings, manage staff, or invite other users.
Inviting a User
- Navigate to the business's Team section in the sidebar
- Click Invite User
- Enter their name and email
- Select their role (Owner or Manager)
- Click Invite
After inviting, a credentials card appears with the user's email, temporary password, and login URL. Share these with the user. They can change their password after first login from the account page.
User Table
The team page shows all business users for the business:

Deactivating a User
Click Deactivate next to a user to revoke their access. Their account is preserved but they can no longer log in. Reactivate at any time.
Deactivation does not delete any data. All bookings, customer records, and audit entries remain intact.
Who Can Manage the Team?
- Operators can invite and manage business users for any business
- Owners can invite and manage business users for their own business
- Managers cannot access the team page
