General Booking Settings
Per-business settings that control how the booking flow works:
Buffer Time
Set minutes between appointments. Prevents back-to-back bookings and gives staff transition time.
Custom Fields
Add custom fields to the booking form. Useful for collecting dietary requirements, allergies, special requests, or any business-specific information.
Custom fields are visible during booking and in the admin booking detail.
Cancellation Policy
Display a cancellation policy on the booking page. Customers must acknowledge it before confirming their booking.
Confirmation Message
A message shown on the booking confirmation page after a successful booking. Use it for directions, parking info, or preparation instructions.
Blocked Dates
Block specific dates or date ranges from accepting bookings. Works at the business level (affecting all services/resources) or at the staff/resource level.

- Vacation periods
- Maintenance windows
- Private events
Availability Rules
For timeslot businesses, availability rules define weekly working hours per staff member. For other patterns, availability is managed through the pattern-specific interface.
